What motivates you to do your best?
I am motivated the most by the rewarding feeling that comes after you do good on something. I have always strived to do my best work on everything. When something isn't my best effort I feel as though I am letting others down. This feeling comes especially during group work; I don't want to bring the rest of the group down just because I am not putting in my best effort. I know that other people are putting their trust in me and they are expecting something out of it.
What is your greatest strength?
What is your greatest weakness?
I believe that my greatest strength is that I am a very trustworthy person. When someone gives me a task to do, that becomes my top priority and I continue to work on it until it is completed. I always give my best effort when someone gives me a task. Working in the office at my dance studio I was given an important job to take home and that was all I worked on until it was done and I knew it was correct. My greatest weakness is that I try to do too many things and become too stressed out. I have always been a busy person with sports, work, and school which is something that I like. However, sometimes I take on too many things and it becomes very hard for me to get things done which then makes me very stressed out. Lately I have trying to leave a little more time to do what needs to get done and work on myself.
If a customer asked you a question, and you didn't know the answer, what would you do?
This is something I actually run into quite often; last year I took on a new role at my job as an office worker at Gayle's DancePhase. There were many things I didn't know about going on throughout the studio and it is a job that requires me to talk to parents all night long and answer questions. Often times parents will ask me a question I know little to nothing about since I don't work at the studio every night. The first thing I do is always start by telling them that I don't completely know the answer to their question but that I will try my best to answer it. If possible at the moment I ask the office manager the answer to the question so I can tell the parent. If not possible I answer the question to my best ability and then tell them I will make a note about the question so I can get the full answer and tell them I will get back to them. I have learned it is best show what knowledge I have but also be completely honest when I don't know the full answer.
Describe your school attendance record.
I have never been one to miss a lot of school, it has always been something I hate. When I miss school I tend to get very stressed out and feel as though I missed so much even if I missed little to nothing. Throughout middle school I always had a perfect attendance record and in high school I tend to miss only a couple days a year. Earlier this school year; however, I had a major injury that caused me to miss a lot of school and leave early many times for doctors appointments. I always felt so behind and that I didn't know what was going on in any of my classes. I did learn a lot from this situation though. I realized that it was very important to plan ahead and to manage my time wisely in order to catch back up in my classes.
If you could choose one superhero power, what would it be and why?
If I could have any one superhero power I would choose teleportation. Traveling is always something I have loved and something I wish I had more time to do; however, traveling is a very expensive thing. If I had the power to teleport I could go anywhere in the world anytime I want without having to pay for transportation and then I could teleport back to my house when I'm ready to go to bed to avoid paying for a hotel. Having this as a super power would allow me to live the life that I can only dream about.
Describe the color yellow to somebody who is blind.
The color yellow represents pure happiness and joy. It's like smelling the most amazing scent you can ever imagine. Yellow is laughter and is like petting the softest dog in the world. The color yellow is feeling the warmth on your skin on the perfect summer day, laying on the beach with your feet in the sand. When you think of yellow you think of energy bursting from everywhere and everyone. Yellow is positivity.
